- One-Way Password Hashing: User passwords are encrypted with industry-standard bcrypt adaptive hashing. Plaintext passwords are never stored or visible to administrators.
- Encrypted Data in Transit: All communications between your device and our servers are protected using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS).
- Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC): Data access is compartmentalized and limited strictly to authorized platform administrators on a strict need-to-know basis.
- Database Redundancy: Regular automated encrypted backups ensure system resilience and disaster recovery.

- Voluntary Enrollment: Facial biometric enrollment requires affirmative student consent and is entirely optional.
- Mathematical Vector Embeddings: We store only numerical coordinate vectors (128-dimensional facial points). Raw biometric facial photographs are never permanently saved on our servers.
- Isolated Storage & Deletion: Biometric embeddings are stored in isolated encrypted clusters and permanently erased upon course conclusion or upon student request.
